The Fibonacci Sequence Found in Nature

The Fibonacci Sequence Appears in nature more often than you'd think. It makes us wonder, "Why do things form in this way? Is it the work of a God or a Divine force we don't understand?" Maybe. It might also just be Mother Nature having Fun.

From Galaxies to Tiny Snailshells, the Fibonaccie Sequence appears everywhere.

Perhaps it is the fingerprint of our unique universe.

It is often refered to as The Rule of Thirds, & Designers/Artists use it quite often to catch the viewer's eye. Why are we so drawn to this sequence, & why is it so common in our world?

The Fibonacci Sequence is a Specific Series of Numbers that continue in this Pattern:

0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34 ...

  • The 2 is found by adding the two numbers before it (1+1)

  • Similarly, the 3 is found by adding the two numbers before it (1+2),

  • And the 5 is (2+3)
