The Dojo Kun is a Standard of Living for the Karate Student.

Some Parts May be Confusing, so I've Explained them Here:

1. Seek Perfection of Character.

Nobody can be truly perfect, but the good Karateka will try to find it anyway.

2. Be Faithful.

Have hope & think positive thoughts. Bad thoughts lead to bad things, so good thoughts will lead to good things. Have a positive outlook.

3. Endeavor.

Try your best always. Train to your full potential.

4. Respect Others.

Treat other people the way you would want someone you love to be treated.

5. Refrain From Violent Behaviour.

Hold Back. Most people who wrong you are simply ignorant. Have dignity & do not hurt another. It takes strength to be gentle when you want to be aggressive.

6. Love Yourself & Love Others.

Don't beat yourself up. Treat yourself well. Do the same for others.
